Some of the children are good learners, they pick quickly everything and respond respectively once they turn one or two. However, still, it is important to motivate them to learn. When it comes to education and learning, few of the children take interest in learning and some do not. If children have a willingness to learn and adapt will become a good learner.

When it comes to developing the learning skills in children, parents, and teachers both do the same mistake, which is limiting studies to classrooms only. Classrooms are only a source that gives them resources to learn, but it doesn’t motivate a child to adapt and prepared them for learning. Schools and classrooms are the primary sources of learning, where teachers give the basics of interaction, behavior, and instruct and work on academic growth.

Well, when a child starts speaking and understanding, mothers are recommended to develop academic learning skills in their children by introducing alphabets and numbers. Use the alphabets and numbers while they are eating, playing, or make them watch the poems that use alphabets and numbers. This will help the children to recognize them.

If you build the habit of learning when your child is just 1 or 2 years old, it will give academic growth and interact them with the academic basics which makes schooling easy for them. There are ways parents could adopt to motivate their children for learning at home and school.

Read with your Children

When parents start reading and singing alphabets and numbers with their children, they become more interested and enjoy the rhythm, and most of the time they ask their parents to repeat.

Encourage them to say, whether it is wrong

Well, the big mistake usually parents do is, they start scolding their child if they are reading something wrong, skip, or don’t remember. This hits their self-esteem and confidence and leads them not to speak in front of their parents, even if they want to learn. Instead, let them read and learn and correct them after that by reading it yourself correctly.

Give them Freedom of Choice

When children are one or two they are more interested in colors as they attract them. Give them choices, whether they want kinder books, want to learn from poems, or from the toys that have alphabets and numbers written on them. Moreover, it will also effective if you put stuff having different colors, fruits, vegetables, and characters in their surroundings like their plates, bed covers, etc. that never let them forget. But remember, there must be some fun.

Create a Positive Image of School and Studies

When your child becomes capable enough to join the school before that creates a positive image of the school, teachers, classroom, and school friend. Make them enthusiastic to join school not anxious with negative facts. Insert the importance of learning in their minds by positivity, not by making them scared of it.
